Fire

Abu walks to school every morning .

On one particular morning as he was on his way to school , he suddenly saw Ah Lee Tailor sop on fire .

As it was still early he could see no one else around . there seemed to be no one inside the burning
shop either .

Quickly Abu ran to a telephone booth nearby and dialled for the fire brigade . He briefly told them the
location of the burning shop .

Soon a fire - engine arrived with its siren wailing . It stopped in front of the shop and firemen quickly
went about their task of putting out the fire .

The fire had burnt part of the shop's first floor and it was left black and charred .

After seeing that there was no more danger the firemen left .

Ah Lee , the owner of the tailor shop was glad that Abu saw the fire and informed the fire brigade .
He shooked Ali's hand and expressed his thanks .

Crossing The Busy Road

Rahman wanted to cross a busy road while he was on his way to school. He wanted to walk directly across. It was not a very safe thing to do but he insisted.

When the road seemed clear,he stepped onto it and began to walk across.Suddenly a huge lorry appeared and the driver sounded his horn impatiently.Rahman was shocked and he hurriedly stepped back onto the pavement as the lorry roared by.What a rude and inconsiderate lorry driver that was.Fortunately he was not knocked down.

Just then a smartly dressed man came by.He pointed towards an overhead pedestrian bridge nearby and invited Rahman to use it to cross the road.

Together they walked onto the bridge and crossed the busy street safely.Below the bridge the traffic flashed by.

On the other side of the road,Rahman descended the stairs of the bridge. He was glad that the pedestrian bridge was there to enable pedestrians like him to
cross safely.Never again would he try to cross a busy road the dangerous direct way.It was better to be safe than sorry.

Bicycle

Ah chong was riding his bicycle very quickly one day .

After a while he became very reckless and released his hands from the handlebars . He wanted to see how
good he was riding without hands .

Without his hands controlling the bicycle he could not avoid travelling right onto a large rock that was
in the middle of the road . As a result both he and the bicycle were sent somersaulting into the air .

On crashing to the ground , Ah Chong hurt his hands badly . His knee was cut and bleeding . He cried
out of pain .

Fortunately a passerby saw the accident and called an ambulance .

The ambulance took Ah Chong to hospital where his arm was put in plaster cast and his knee bandaged .

His parents came to visit him . Ah Chong told them how stupid and reckless he had been and that he would
never do such a thing again .

Neighbours

I live in a modern estate. My family and i occupy one of the many single-storey terrace houses here. Thus we have neighbours all around us.
They are neighbours from various races. I have had the opportunity of foisting some of the neighbours and i see that they are different in many aspects. They have different religions, customs, beliefs, food, music, likes and dislikes, cloths and so on. However, they have one thing common, that is, they just want to live their own way as best as they can.
Generally, we got along reasonably well. However, in living their own way, some neighbours tend to cause disturbance and inconvenience to others. for example, some play their music Tod loud, one or two keep fierce fogs that bite people or some of them simply park their cars and cause obstruction to others, These are the inconsiderate neighbours.
on the other hand there are neighbours who bring things to eat during festivals. Some people help others in time of need and some just drop by to chat a bit and be friendly.
Neighbours are here to stay whether they are food or bad to us. We have to live and let live..........

Playing With Fire

It was during the Hari Raya Season that Halim and Samy got hold of some firecrackers.
Halim suggested that they make a huge firecracker so that they can get a super loud bang.Samy agreed.

Halim fetched some newspaper while samy removed the gunpowder from the firecrackers.

When Samy had removed enough gunpowder,Halim poured the powder into the tube that made out of the
newspaper. It was going to be a giant firecracker indeed!

Next Halim began pounding on the gunpowder in the paper tube to make it more compact. What he did not
realise was that the gunpowder was very unstable and could ignite easily.Pounding on the powder could very well do it.

And it did!

The gunpowder ignited with an almighty blast, taking off one Halim's fingers and burning the two friends in many places.

In the hospital all they could do were to regret their stupid actions. They were fortunate that their injuries were not worse. They could have been killed.

Rescued From The Flood

The rain beat down heavily on the house and the surrounding area.

house for the water level had risen up too high. The occupants of the house, a women and her son,had

pouring rain.

Still the rain poured and the water level continued to rise . Even the roof was beginning to be unsafe.

Luckily, the local Rescue squad was out looking for people trapped by the flood. One of their boats was
passing by the house when the rescuer saw the woman and child in distress. the two of them waved happily
at the boat.

Soon mother and son were on their way to safety. They were thankful to be rescued.

At the flood relief centre , they were provided with hot drinks, dry clothes and a place to sleep while
they waited for the rain to stop and the flood to subside.

Graphics Card

Which industry in producing PC hardware grows fastest in the world? Its the Graphics Card industry. Since 2001 Pentium 4 CPU have been used and only by now we have been replaced b the core 2 duo series. There is a quick change in the graphics processing unit. I got the reason for this fast turnover. Its because of the game developers. Because the game players are always going for the best 3D games. The most demanding application is the game applications. The card based on the graphics processors represent the high flyer's. And the fact is that the graphics card is also more expensive. The architecture of these cards is very complected and designed with the knowledge of playing all 3D games. There are many types of graphics card available. For a low end card he graphics design is not formed in a full automotive manner. Where as in the high end card the graphics is in the high state with more settings.

Different brand in graphics card are :
(1) Asus

Kickoff

WHEN GOD CREATES A PERSON ,HE GIVES A HEART INSIDE EVERY PERSON, BUT HE GAVE ME A PERSON INSIDE MY HEART ... THAT'S YOU...

WHEN MAN CREATES A COMPUTER,HE GIVES PROGRAM INSIDE EVERY COMPUTER, BUT HE GAVE EXECUTABLE PROGRAM INSIDE EVERY COMPUTER FOR TAKING PERSONAL INFORMATION TO A THIRD PARTY ... THAT'S SPY WARE...

What is spy ware?

It is an executable program kept on your computer. When someone monitors your action or takes your personal information and reports without your knowledge to a third person means you will feel like kicking them.Everyone feels the same. The same operation is done by the spy ware.Spy ware programs working principle is collect information from a user’s computer, that also the personal information, such as a name or an email address, and send it to their host server.

Are you ready to kick this spy ware?

We shall know how these spy ware spread ...
Different ways as follows,

(1) Surfing on Internet is the famous pass time for all people.By knocking the doors of certain website will lead to spy ware.

(2) Everyone knows that KNOWN IS A DROP... UNKNOWN IS AN OCEAN..so users always prefer the ocean. So users give permission like they dive into an ocean while doing some some downloads/applications.

(3) Pop - up is the greatest headache for all the people.when they are frustrated and
clicks on the confusing pop-up they are under trouble.

spy ware works like this : When popping up all over their desktops, users are said to be said to known there is a spy ware on their system.computers will be working slower than usual.

How to remove these Spy ware?

NOW KICK OFF BEGINS....

Long back spy ware removal tools are targeted to individual consumers, not to organizations,
and centrally managed solution are not provided. This means that, to implement this solution, IT staff would have to update desktops individually. Many of these spy ware removal tools not offering the centralized reporting, reliability that would enable IT users easily detect spy ware, establish and put deals across all desktops and laptops. This generation spy ware removal tools may have centralized administration, but still risky and sometimes a debilitating proposition.

Bye Bye Oldie

Day By Day Week Ends...
Week By Week Month Ends...
Month By Month Year Ends...
But
Technology
Never Ends....

Single to dual core processors has broken a certain barrier. now we are looking for multi core world. don't look back.
Intel's theory of multi-core processor evolution
Dual core,
Kilo core,
Mega core,
Giga core.

Intel people says that integrating the memory controller directly into the chip would improve performance with some workloads. It is said that when multi-core processors are touching
the world there will be certain applications which will be developed regarding those processors.
There is an rapid development in the inventions of the processors. When processors are coming
now and then we should update the processor now and then. So, technology never stands in one
stand it creating a new new era for the people welfare. Of course many can thing that if many technologies are coming to the world then they must also upgrade so, for upgrade process itself full life will be going on then when can we operate the system.

What exactly the computer of 2020 look like? multi-core silicon chips will be used in those computers or will silicon replaced by some thing else?

We live in an exponential age.

Employing Computers

WHEN THE PAGES OF MY LIFE WILL END , I KNOW THAT COMPUTERS WILL BE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CHAPTER. A decade ago the most vehement opposition to computerization came from people who believed that it would lead to unemployment. The hue and cry was based on the argument that computers would aggravate the unemployment situation by taking jobs from human beings.

It has been established that the computerization of an economy increases its efficiency and productivity while bringing about savings in cost.Funds are generated and additional employment is created. But the paradox of India is its millions of poor people lacking the basic means of survival even while the rest of the world recognizes the invaluable worth of its technological industry.

Computers are now extensively employed in private and government sectors like banks , hotels , airlines , media , multinational business houses. The Indian IT industry is aggressively pursuing Internet and e-commerce opportunities.Indian firms design multimedia content for Hollywood animation movies Technology parks have been set up in the metro cities because India is considered the top destination for software outsourcing.

India's tack record in the field of technology in now well known. There is a great demand for software professionals from India. At the same time there is a great deal of foreign investment in the technology sector.

More than 70,000 computer professionals graduate every year. The question no longer whether computers are here to stay, but how much they contribute to the development of a country.Calamities much as the droughts, flood and earthquakes are a remainder that these problems have to be addressed.
